There is no downtime: the hardware methods are non-invasive, so you go back to your day straight away. Light redness or warmth in the treated area is possible and fades within a few hours. After growth removal a small crust stays on the spot and falls off on its own.
Until the area heals, please keep it dry for the first 24 hours and let the crust fall off on its own, without picking it. Skip scrubs and alcohol-based products, and avoid the sauna, pool and intense sport for a few days. Use SPF on the spot until the skin tone evens out.
Treated stretch marks do not return: the treatment rebuilds the connective tissue and evens out texture and colour. Your skin keeps changing, though: sudden weight changes, pregnancy or hormonal shifts can create new marks elsewhere. The areas already treated stay as they are.
